We are looking to recruit a Member Service Assistant to be based at our Leigh branch but willing to work at other branches when required.  This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent customer service skills to join a strong, growing organisation.

 Main Duties



This job description is a broad picture of the post at the date of preparation.  It is not an exhaustive list of all possible duties and it is recognised that jobs change and evolve over time.  Consequently this is not a contractual document and the post holder will be required to carry out any other duties to the equivalent level that are necessary to fulfil the purpose of the job.


Job Specification Requirements

There is an expectation that the short listed candidate will meet the requirements below:-



Excellent literacy and numeracy skills

Customer service experience

Cash handling experience

Ability to meet strict deadlines and targets

IT skills

Good Interpersonal skills

Flexible working

Desirable Criteria

Previous credit union experience or similar financial organisation

Awareness of financial inclusion issues

Full clean driving licence

Own transport


30 HOURS PER WEEK (Monday to Friday, and Saturdays on a rota basis)

£9.90 PER HOUR
