Party with Wigan Pride in Wigan town centre on 11th August 2018
Wiganers of all ages are invited to join the celebration – starting with a parade from Mesnes Park into Wigan town centre, which will be jam packed with fantastic artists and local talent on a main stage, plus a range of different market stalls.
Discover the amazing world of moths at Haigh Hall on the Sunday 26th August
If your little ones are into creepy crawlies, this is the event for them…
A great event for all the family, join us for an experience not to be missed – we will be examining what has been caught in the overnight moth trap before going on a short woodland walk to look and listen for the summer wildlife.
Attend the Big Summer Festival in Jubilee Park on 1st September
Head down to Jubilee Park in Ashton-in-Makerfield for lots for the family to enjoy, including fairground rides, live music, a WISH FM stage, stores, crafts and activity stalls.
Meet Wigan Athletic stars at their free Latics Open Day – Thursday 26th July
If you’re a family of blues, head down to Robin Park Arena for the Wigan Athletic open day. Alongside meeting players, the day will give fans behind-the scenes-access to the club and youngsters can take part in football sessions with members of the academy’s coaching team. Although free, you do have to register for the event. Find out more.
